| KVITLECH 2000 is a virtual card game, based on a game commonly played
throughout various jewish circles during Chanuka. If you've ever played the real game
before I'm sure you will enjoy this one. If you've never heard of it before, the game of Kvitlech is similar to Blackjack. For the full set of rules check out our help page. Kvitlech 2000 was written in Visual Basic (a programming language). I started out designing and writing the game in December of 1998 solely for fun. I revised and completed it at the end of 1999. It has since evolved into quite a serious piece of work. At the end of 2000, following the advice of some of my friends, I decided to distribute it over the web. I added some finnishing touches to it, wrote the help file and packaged it up for distribution. This purpose of this site is to distribute, update and support the game. While the game is totaly free right now, I may decide to change that in the future (in the unlikely event that the game becomes a raging success). I will keep you posted if I do. If you have any questions or comments about anything related to this game, please let me know (here). Also, if you happen to come across a bug in the game, I would greatly appreciate if you would alert me about it too. Hope you have as much fun playing KVITLECH 2000 as I've had building it. |
